History :
The belgian praline (or chocolate) was invented by Jean Neuhaus in
1912. Jean Neuhaus was a chimist in Brussels
He started to put ou thin layer of chocolate on
his medicine to make it taste better. Later he
replaced the medicine by whipped cream and
that's how the first praline was created.
In 1915 his wife created a beautiful box called « ballotin ».
in 1958 thank's to the universal exhibition the
pralines became famous all over the world
